Valentine’s Day

Girls wants gifts
Guys want sex
And this is special?
If you say it is

Gifts don’t last
And it’s just a day
To waste money
And celebrate

But I’m no one
Do what you will
What do I know?
I’m single

I like this. I’ve never been a fan of Valentine’s Day. Even when I wasn’t single.

I like this. Dark. And kind of funny. Valentines day is a manufactured corperate money suck. And like I tell my wife: “Being married to me every day is Valentines day.”

Love this–I actually think Valentine’s day should focus more on the friendships one has with others, like how children celebrate Valentine’s day with their friends, instead of focusing more on romantic relationships. I don’t know, that’s just me 🙂
