This week two celebrities I follow announced the release of their first books. Lisa Ramos wrote a book on dating in the 21st century, which I imagine incorporates lots of humor. And Lilly Singh wrote a self-help type of book.
I applaud them for wanting to share a bit about their life experience, but there’s no chance I’ll be buying either book. I imagine they’re both okay, but the topics just aren’t for me. I’ve never read anything on either topic, and I don’t plan on starting now.
Are you interested in either of these forthcoming books by Lisa Ramos and Lilly Singh?
Not my kind of topics either … I’m defo more into history books – ino sounds boring :’)

Yes. I have a few history books now. I’ll be delving into them soon. No celebrity ones.

I love Lilly, but yeah, her book just isn’t my thing…but you know one book I’d love to get is Humans of New York: Stories by Brandon Stanton. Kind of random, but I just saw it and I’m like, that’s one atypical book I’d be interested in. (Lol I’m kind of thinking out loud, sorry 😂)

Hm. Couldn’t you just read the blog or check out the Facebook page that those two Humans of New York books originated from?

Yeah, I could. I used to do that all the time, but now there are so many posts that I’d rather just read it in book form, since it’s an option. I doubt I’d ever buy it myself, but if I got it as a gift or something, you know, I’d be happy.
