I finally have a set work schedule. I can set aside time to read each day rather than just picking up my current read whenever I think I have time.
It’s nice to know exactly what I’ll be doing and when I’ll be doing it after several months of uncertainty. I’ll never have enough time to read everything I want to read, but now perhaps I can get into a little groove and at least get some reading done.
Has a defined work schedule ever helped you devote more time to reading?
Routine is the life and breath of our home! As a mother of a son with TS and my own chronic illness, we could not function without it. It opens up so much more room for hobbies when you know what you are facing. And for myself, it is a general stress reliever. I know how difficult it can be when you are making a career transition. Happy to see you are finally settling in 🙂 Good luck on finding your groove!

Routine is desperately important in my house. Asd kiddo means chaos equals disaster. But I find a goal helps a lot. 50 pages a day for example.
